As time really seems to be flying away these days (I must be having too much fun, lol) I’ve decided to show you another really quick and easy card.
This time I’m featuring the Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Wishes Dies…
My card base measures 29 x 10.5 cm, scored at 14.5 cm to form a portrait tent fold.
I added a layer of Melon Mambo card measuring 14 x 10 cm. I cut a piece of Whisper White card to measure 13.5 x 9.5 cm and stamped the ink splatter from Touches of Textures using Melon Mambo ink. If you don’t have that set you could just use an Aqua Painter to really splash some ink around.
I die cut the flower from Sunshine Wishes from Melon Mambo card and Vellum card. I glued the Vellum one to the Melon Mambo one slightly of centre but just where I’ve added the Glitter Dot. I glued both onto my Whisper White layer and added it to my card base. I glued the stem of the Vellum one and most of the Melon Mambo one but as you can see from this photo, I left some so that there’s some dimension to it…
The Melon Mambo Glitter Enamel Dot does a good job of hiding any glue marks on the Vellum. The ink splatter also gives some camouflage to the stem.
The Happy Birthday stamp is from Picture Perfect Birthday. Again I used Melon Mambo ink onto Whisper White card. I cut it out using my Classic Label Punch and backed it with a Melon Mambo Classic Label cut in half. This was added to the card using Foam Adhesive Strip.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. I’ve listed all of the products used in this project below. You can click on any of these links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop. I’d be delighted to be your independent demonstrator.
