I was inspired by a card sketch (layout) that I’d seen recently and decided that I should use a colour I haven’t used for a while. Garden Green is a colour that I don’t really think I’ve used since last Christmas, but I could be mistaken. It’s certainly a colour I used A LOT last year!
I decided to use it as my card base and use the ink too…
All of the stamps I’ve used in today’s card come from the Botanical Bliss stamp set. I’ve also used the Botanical Tags thinlits too.
My card base measures 29 x 10.5 cm, scored at 14.5 cm to form a portrait tent fold.
I cut 3 strips of Shimmery White card measuring 10 x 2.5 cm and stamped each of them with the leaves in Garden Green ink. I cut another piece of Shimmery White card measuring 10 x 2 cm and stamped the Best Wishes in Garden Green ink too. I trimmed the end using my Triple Banner punch.
I cut the geometric flower from Garden Green card using two of the Botanical Tags dies, one for the main shape and the second to completely cut it out, rather than leave it as being the top of a tag. It’s great that you have the choice with this set. I then back this with a circle of Shimmery White card.
I added a length of Basic Black Shimmer ribbon to the card base with Tear & Tape, added the stamped banner with dimensionals and the flower with more dimensionals.
