I love Designer Series Paper and I hate waste. So today’s card is ideal for using just a little bit of leftover DSP for a big impact. I’ve chosen to use a piece of Wood Textures I had left from decorating a note book recently…
My card base is Crumb Cake card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored on the long side at 10.5 cm to form a landscape tent fold. I added a panel of Very Vanilla card that measures 10 x 14 cm.
I then cut a piece of Crumb Cake card to 14 x 5 cm. I cut my leftover DSP to 14 x 4 cm. I used my trimmer to add some score lines to my Crumb Cake panel to add a bit more detail, before adding both layers to my card.
I used my Leaf Punch on Crumb Cake card and another scrap of Wood Textures DSP and glued them to the card then added a Linen Thread bow with a glue dot.
I stamped the sentiment onto the Very Vanilla layer in Crumb Cake ink. This stamp comes from Floral Phrases. I also stamped a message inside the cake from the same stamp set…
I think this is a lovely neutral and natural card that would suit a male, female or a couple. And in my opinion, you can never send too many Thank You cards. It’s amazing the impact receiving a card in the post can have on someone’s day.
That’s why Stampin’ Up! encourages us all to #makeacardsendacard
