My elephant quilt

It’s probably no surprise to you that I love elephants, just look at my logo.  And it should be even less of a shock that I love the Stampin’ Up! Little Elephant stamp set and the Elephant Builder punch. Who wouldn’t love this cute combo?

My favourite t-shirt at the moment features a rainbow of elephants.  This inspired today’s card which features the 2018-2020 In Colors…

I think by using the Stitched Shapes square framelits it makes the card look a bit like a colourful quilt – do you agree?

I used Whisper White Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored at 14.5 cm to form a portrait tent fold card base. I then added a panel of Grapefruit Grove DSP from the 2018-2020 In Colors 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper pack, measuring 14 x 10 cm.  On top of that I added a Whisper White panel measuring 13.5 x 9.5 cm.

I cut squares from each of the 2018-2020 In Color card stocks using the 2nd smallest square die from my Stitched Shapes set.

I stamped the smaller elephant from the Little Elephant stamp set in each of the 2018-2020 In Color ink pads onto Whisper White card and used my Elephant Builder punch to cut them out.

The Thank You heart stamp is from the same set and I used Grapefruit Grove ink onto Whisper White card and again used one of the Stitched Shapes dies.

I added a little length of Pineapple Punch to the bottom right of the card and then add the circle on top using Stampin’ Dimensionals. All of the elephants were added to the squares using Stampin’ Dimensionals too.

The final touch was a bit of bling thanks to some clear rhinestones.
