I think Soft Sea Foam is one of my new favourite colours! This was just introduced into the 2018/2019 Annual Stampin’ Up! catalogue when it launched in June 2018. There are so many lovely new colours to choose from and Soft Sea Foam is one of the Subtles family.
I’ve used Soft Sea Foam card as my base and I chose one of the designs from Garden Impressions designer series paper that has this colour in the background…
The lighter blue in the flowers on the paper is Pacific Point so I wanted to use more of that in my card.
I stamped the Thinking of You stamp from Rooted In Nature in versamark ink and then sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss powder before heat setting it. I then used one of the Stitched Shaped framelits to cut it out. I cut a 1 inch wide strip of Pacific Point card and another one of the opposite side of the sheet of designer series paper I’d used. I punch both strips with my Triple Banner Punch and glued them to my card. I added the stamped circle on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
This was such a simple card to make but hopefully you’ll agree that it’s effective. I like the combination of the subtle and bright colours; which are a feature of the Garden Impressions designer series paper pack. Remember, it’s currently available in the Buy 3 and Get 4 DSP offer until 31st July 2018.
