The Hand Delivered stamp set has really grown on me, I couldn’t see it at first, but it really is a fun set with so many possibilities. Here’s my first card using the set…
The main image is actually a combination of 3 stamps from the set; the balloons, the skirt & legs and then the pattern for the skirt. I used my Stamparatus to make sure that I got them lined up. You wouldn’t want the poor woman to have a gap along her midriff, lol!
I then used my Stampin’ Blends and had lots of fun colouring in. I decided to add one of the balloons from a circle of Rich Razzleberry card on Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added Wink of Stella to it, to give it a bit of shimmer too.
Finally I trimmed my stamped image to be 6.5 x 14 cm. I cut a panel of Daffodil Delight card measuring 3.5 x 14cm and embossed it with the Scattered Sequins embossing folder.
I added both panels to my card base that measured 29 x 10.5cm, scored at 14.5cm to form a portrait tent fold.
I stamped the Happy Birthday from the same set onto Whisper White card in Daffodil Delight ink and used by Classic Label punch to cut it out. I also cut a Classic Label from Rich Razzleberry card, cut it in half and added it to the back of the stamped one. This was then just glued to the bottom of the card.
I’m looking forward to making many more cards with this set. If you’d like to get your hands on this set then you need to have an order of £150 or more, as it can only be bought with Host Rewards. You could get some friends together to Host a party and if their total orders are £150 or more you could get this set with your rewards. You can read more about Host Rewards on page 224 of the annual catalogue or click here
I’ve listed some of the products I used on this card (not all of the Stampin’ Blends as I can’t remember how many I used, I just know most of them were on my desk at the end!) and you can click on them to visit my online Stampin’ Up! store.
I’d be delighted to be your nominated Independent Demonstrator. I send all of my customers a handmade card and a small gift as a token of my appreciation for your order.
Let me know if you have any comments or questions.
Happy crafting,
