Happy Celebrations card

Unfortunately the Happy Celebrations stamp set is retiring on 31st May 2018.  I’ve had lots of fun with this set and the coordinating embossing folder.  Here’s my latest card using both…

As the sentiment is such a bright and cheery one I went with some bright colours and a bit of neutral for balance.

My card base is Very Vanilla, measuring 14.5 x 21 cm, scored at 10.5 cm to create a landscape tent fold card. The ink & card colours I used were

  • Pumpkin Pie
  • Daffodil Delight
  • Crumb Cake

I used the Happy from the Celebrations Duo embossing folder set on Very Vanilla card, that I’d spritzed with water first to avoid creasing the card.

I then stamped over the embossed card with the 2 circular stamps from Happy Celebrations.

I mounted that panel onto Crumb Cake card, then onto Very Vanilla and then Pumpkin Pie card.

Finally I stamped the So Very and For You sentiments from Happy Celebrations in Pumpkin Pie ink onto Very Vanilla card and backed them both with Daffodil Delight card.  I added these to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the edge that would be stuck to the card base.

I hope you like this card.  I have to admit that it reminded me a little of 1970’s curtains, lol.

I’ve listed the products used below.  If you’re in the UK and would like to purchase any just click on the product to visit my Stampin’ Up! online store.  Everyone that shops with me receives a gift and of course will get a free copy of the new catalogue that launches on 1st June 2018.

Happy crafting,
