Hello!
Today’s project is a Best Wishes card using Copper heat embossing and the Petal Palette stamp set…
My card base is Very Vanilla and measured 21 x 14.5 cm. I scored at 10.5 cm to form a conventional side fold card. I then added a Crumb Cake layer measuring 14 x 10 cm.
I stamped a piece of Shimmery White card that measured 13.5 x 9.5 cm in Versamark using the branch stamp and the dots border (twice), sprinkled it with Copper Stampin Emboss powder and heat set it. Using the embossing buddy on your card before you stamp helps to reduce static and fingermarks so that your powder only sticks to where you’ve stamped.
I also stamped the Best Wishes from the same set in versa mark on a scrap of Shimmery White card, added the embossing powder and heat set. I then used one of the Stitched Shapes oval dies to cut it.
The Copper thread was stuck to the back of the oval and then I used dimensionals on the oval to pop it up.
I love the shimmery white card and the super shiny embossing powders together and I hope you do too.
