Color Me Happy candle

As I promised in my recent YouTube video, I’m making a few more projects using the Color Me Happy stamp set and I will share more of them with you this week.

The first one is this candle….

Used the lovely flower stamp on white tissue paper in Powder Pink, Fliry Flamingo, Melon Mambo and Berry Burst, as randomly as I could.  Does anyone else struggle with ‘trying’ to stamp randomly?  I normally end up with a pattern anyway.

I then cut the tissue paper to fit my candle, wrapped it round the candle and then wrapped that in wax paper.  I used my trusty heat gun to melt the wax from the wax paper and seal the tissue paper onto the candle.  There are lots of YouTube videos with this technique if you’re interested in trying this out.  Remember to be careful not to burn your fingers with the heat gun or the melting wax from the paper.

Now I think this candle is crying out for some packaging so I’m off to see what I can create.

See you back here soon, I hope!

Heather x
