Yesterday I shared a card on my Facebook page (Nellies.Hobbies) where I cut out a square aperture to show a cute church scene. Today I want to show you how I used the square cut out…
I used a whisper white notecard and added a layer of Quilted Christmas Designer Series Paper.
Using my leftover square of whisper white I stamped 2 houses in Real Red ink, added the smoke in Smoky Slate ink and Santa & his sleigh was stamped with Versamark then heat embossed with gold. The tree was stamped in Emerald Envy.
I backed the whisper white square with Real Red card and stuck it to my card.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment on whisper white card in Real Red ink, inked the edges and mounted that on Real Red card and added it to my card using dimensionals.
All stamps are from Hearts Come Home. I just love the little houses in this set and I’m pretty sure I will be using them long after Christmas for new home cards etc.
