Hello everyone.
It’s the first Saturday of the Month so it’s time to get together with my Stampin’ friends Verity of Inky Butterfly, Gez of Nigezza Creates and Jill of Paper Daisy Crafting for our Project Share Blog Hop. We normally share each others projects every Thursday but on the first Saturday of the month we each make a brand new project for the Project Share Blog Hop. Our theme for this months is Floral. Once you’ve seen my project please click on the next button below to hop over to see the next fabulous project created by these talented ladies.
My project is this piece of motivational home decor, using the Playful Alphabet dies and the Pierced Blooms dies…
There is no stamping involved in this project just lots and lots of die cutting with my trusty Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.
All of the colours I used for this piece are from the Brights colour collection and in fact I’ve only used scrap pieces of each of the 10 colours of card in the collection.
I’ve made a video to show you how I created this, please click on the image below to check it out…
The frame I used takes a piece of Basic White thick card measuring 8″ x 8″. The letters were added to a piece measuring 3″ x 3″ that I backed with Poppy Parade card measuring 3-1/4″ x 3-14″
I attached 1″ square pieces of each card colour to some foam adhesive sheet and cut out a letter from each using the Playful Alphabet dies. This gives them some dimension…
I love the huge variety of the Pierced Blooms dies, you can come up with so many different combinations so that even when you have as many flowers as this project has, there’s very little duplication.
Now please click on the next button to see what other flowery projects my talented friends have in store for you…
