Today’s card is a pretty Mother’s Day card. Mother’s Day in the UK is on 14 March 2021, so if you’re lucky enough to have someone to send a card to please do. A card made with love can make such a difference!
To inspire you I’ve created a card with a handbag on the front…
I’ve used the All Dressed Up dies to cut the front of the handbag, the straps and buckles. Normally you would use the largest die in this set twice and glue the pieces together to create a 3D handbag. I just partially cut one of the pieces and trimmed off the extra bits with my paper snips.
The paper I used comes from the free Sale-A-Bration Paper Blooms designer series paper pack. You can earn this product (or a different one if you prefer) with a £45 order in my online store up until 28 February 2021 – while stocks last!
I used Night of Navy card for my base and added a layer of Seaside Spray that I embossed with the Tasteful Textile folder.
I used Rococo Rose card for the strap, with some Gold Foil for the buckles. I also used Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray and Vellum to add extra flowers cut with the Small Bloom punch. I added some of the new Pastel Pearls to the centres of these cute little flowers.
The sentiment comes from the Dressed To Impress stamp set and was cut with another die from the corresponding All Dressed Up die set.
