Today is the day! The Stampin’ Up! 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue launches today and I can start ordering from my shopping list at 11am (except that I’m at work so will actually have to wait until my lunch break – boo!)
As an independent demonstrator I was lucky enough to be able to order some products from the new catalogue in advance. One of the products I bought was the Tranquil Textures designer series paper. This has 12 sheets of 6 double sided designs an each page measures 12 x 12 inches. I love each and every one of the designs, so look out for more projects using them soon.
My first project is this gift bag…
I love the colour combination of Night of Navy and Fresh Fig on this page and I wanted to show both sides of the paper.
I cut my sheet down to 12 x 8 inches and used my Gift Bag Punch board to make a large width bag. After I had used the Gift Bag Punch board to punch the notches and score the fold lines I also used my Simply Scored board to score a line 1 inch in from the top of the bag, so I could fold this over and show the other side of the paper.
The gift tag uses the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and I used the dotty stamp in Fresh Fig ink full strength and also ‘stamped off’ onto Whisper White card. I backed this with Fresh Fig card. I used the new Detailed Trio punch to create the holes to thread my Silver Metallic Edged ribbon through.
