Hello!
Today I’d like to show you this Christmas card that I made after stamping my own patterned paper with the Banner Year stamp set…
The Banner Year set has all sorts of cute little images and sentiments to help you celebrate all year round. I used the tiny holly leaves and berries from the set with Shaded Spruce and Real Red inks to stamp all over a piece of Whisper White card that measures 10 x 14 cm.
My card base is Real Red card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. Before I added my stamped layer to the base I adhered one of the Square Vellum Doilies and I wrapped it with some Double Stitched Real Red satin ribbon, securing the ends on the back. It was then ready to add to the card base.
I stamped the Christmas Wishes with Real Red ink and the From All of Us in Shaded Spruce ink onto Whisper White card then cut it with the Tailored Tag punch. I cut another tag from Real Red card, cut it in half lengthways and added the pieces to the back of the stamped one. I added this to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added some red rhinestones…
I added a piece of Whisper White card measuring 10 x 14 cm to the inside to finish the card off.
After making this card I thought of another project to go along with it and I’ll share that with you tomorrow. I hope you’ll pop back to see it.
