Hello everyone.
Today’s project was a very quick and easy birthday gift box I made recently for a lovely little lady I know…
I filled this decorated Mini Pizza Box with some chocolates with birthday money hidden underneath. Although from the photos I saw my little friend seemed more interested in the chocolates than the money, lol.
These Mini Pizza Boxes are food safe and come ready to be very easily assembled. To decorate it I added Petal Pink card to the top and sides, along with matching paper from the Subtle 6″ x 6″ designer series paper (DSP) pack.
The card for the top measures 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ and the DSP measures 3″ x 3″. The card for each side measures 3-1/4″ x 3/4″ and the DSP measures 3″ x 1/2″ – obviously you need 4 of each.
I used the Daisy Punch 4 times on Petal Pink card and layered them together. I added a 1/2″ circle of the So Saffron paper from the Subtle DSP pack to the centre of my daisy. Before adding it to the box I made my tag so the ribbon could be glued underneath the flower.
For the tag I used a piece of Petal Pink card measuring 1-3/4 x 2-1/4″ that I covered with more of the Subtles DSP and cut the top with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.
The sentiment comes from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set and I used Petal Pink ink on Whisper White card that I trimmed to fit. I used the Small Bloom punch to add the little Petal Pink flower to the tag with a little pearl in the centre. I threaded Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon through the tag and glued the ribbon to the top of the box with the daisy on top.
I hope you liked seeing this post even a fraction of how much my friend’s granddaughter enjoyed the chocolates inside it!
