September was my birthday month and my birthstone is Sapphire so I thought it was appropriate to celebrate my birthday with my customers by gifting them a pack of the Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems, because I couldn’t afford real sapphires, lol! Everyone that ordered with me during September 2020 received one of these…
I used some of the Snowflake Splendour designer series paper to create a little envelope to hold their gift…
I cut my designer series paper to measure 11-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ then I scored the long side of the strip at 4-3/4″ and 9-1/2″. I scored the short side at 1/2″ and 5″ then cut the panels as shown in the photograph below…
I used the Detailed Trio punch to round the 2 corners. I then folded up the left section and glued the tabs on the back.
I cut the snowflakes using the So Many Snowflakes dies with Pool Party and Balmy Blue card, glued them together and added them to the envelope with Stampin’ Dimensionals just on the bottom half so that I could tuck the envelope flap under the top of the snowflakes to keep it closed.
Obviously I had to add one of the gems to the centre of the snowflake too!
The sentiment is from Snowman Season and is stamped with Balmy Blue ink onto Whisper White card then backed with Balmy Blue card.
I hope my customers enjoy using these blue gems to add a little sparkle to their projects.
