Hello I hope you are all well.
Today I want to share a card with you that uses products from the In Good Taste suite of products…
My card base is made with a piece of Gray Granite card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm. I then cut a piece of In Good Taste designer series paper to measure 10 x 14 cm and embossed it with the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder. The design of the paper has really nice shading that suggests texture and then the embossing folder really enhances it.
I cut a piece of the same paper to measure 14 x 5 cm but used the opposite side of it when I put it across the centre of my card.
The sentiment and other stamps I used are from the Tasteful Touches set. I stamped the sentiment with Basic Gray ink onto a piece of the same designer series paper that I used for the background and cut it with a Tasteful Labels die.
The other die cuts I added to the card where made with the same set of dies. I used Gray Granite and Basic Gray card along with more of the designer series paper that I stamped with Smoky Slate ink. I enjoyed combining these different colours from the Neutrals collection.
Here are a couple of close ups to show the colours and textures involved…
This is the first time I’ve used the Old World Paper embossing folder and I can’t believe the amount of texture it adds to your paper and card, I think you’ll be seeing me use this again soon! Lol.
