Hello everyone.
In yesterday’s blog I showed you the Christmas card that I sent to my customers along with their copy of the new August-December 2020 mini catalogue.
The designer series paper I used for this cards was from the ‘Tis The Season paper pack, which comes with 6″ x 6″ sheets. This meant I had quite a lot of bits leftover from the sheets I used. I used up rather a lot of them with this card…
I’ve made a video of how I achieved this card, but with a little bit of a difference – I used strips of differing widths this time…
I used Whisper White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm to create my base. I cut a piece of Whisper White card to measure 10 x 14 cm and covered it with Adhesive Sheet to allow me to add my strips of paper.
As I mentioned in the video I thought my card front looked like a Christmas quilt so to enhance that I embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.
The bow was created with the Gift Wrapped stamp set, the Gift Bow Builder punch and coloured with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends.
The sentiment was stamped with Shaded Spruce ink onto Whisper White card and cut with a Stitched So Sweetly die.
