Hello everyone.
Today I’ve got 2 cards to share with you. This is the first one I made…
It’s a shaker card filled with sequins and tiny circles of Playing With Patterns designer series paper (DSP)…
I used the Playful Alphabet dies to cut the word hooray from a piece of Playing With Patters DSP that measures 9 x 13 cm. I remembered to save the centres from the O R and A! I added a piece of Window Sheet to the back of the DSP to cover the area of the letters and a bit beyond then added some Foam Adhesive strips around it. I used a 2 hole punch on some scraps of DSP to create some ‘confetti’ for the inside of the card, along with some old sequins I had in my stash. I backed this shaker piece with some Crushed Curry card measuring 10 x 14 cm and then added the whole piece to a Whisper White Thick card base (21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm). Finally I glued on the bits I saved from the middles of the letters and then some Playing With Patterns resin dots.
I then used the letters I’d cut out from my first card to add to my second card…
I used Coastal Cabana card for my base, added a layer of Crushed Curry card and then Playing With Patterns DSP using the same measurements as my first card.
I stamped the sentiment from the Pattern Play stamp set straight onto the DSP with Night of Navy ink and glued on the die cut letters from earlier. I also stamped the ‘sparkles’ with Night of Navy and Coastal Cabana inks and finished it off with resin dots.
I added a piece of Whisper White card to the inside along with a strip of left over DSP along the left edge.
It felt like I made one and got one free! lol.
