Hello everyone.
Today I have another Designer Series Paper project to share with you. This gift bag is made with the In Good Taste designer series paper…
The finished bag measures 4″ x 1-1/4″ x 6″ so is a lovely size for all sorts of small gifts. And the best part is that you can make them in advance and store them easily as they fold flat…
Please check out my YouTube video to see how to make your own version…
You will need a piece of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper that measures 11″ x 8″. On the long side score this at 4″, 4-5/8″, 5-1/4″, 9-1/4″, 9-7/8″ and 10-1/2″
Turn 90 degrees clockwise and score the short side at 1-1/4″ and 7-1/4″. You also want to score the short side at 1-7/8″ but only down to the 4″ mark.
You can see the cutting guide in my video.
To decorate I added the sentiment from Happiest of Birthdays stamp set. I stamped in Early Espresso ink onto Very Vanilla card and cut with a Stitched Rectangle die. I backed this with an Early Espresso Stitched Rectangle and in my video I explain how I made this shorter.
I punched holes in the reinforced top section and thread through ribbon. For my first bag I used ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim combo pack. For the others I’ve used Gold Metallic Edged ribbon.
I’ve now got a few ready to pop in some birthday gifts. So handy and definitely nicer than the ones you buy in the shops. Especially as I can make cards to match with the left over pieces of DSP.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project and video. I’ve listed all of the products I used in all of the versions below. You can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop at any time.
Remember that when you shop with me in July you will automatically receive a £4.50 bonus voucher code for every £45 you spend (before P&P) that you can then redeem in August 2020…
And if your order total is under £150 please also use the current Host Code to ensure that I can send you a little bit extra in my customer Thank You pack too.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
