Hello everyone.
Over the years I’ve made lots of gift boxes and bags for all sorts of things but I think this might be the first time I’ve made one for some men’s travel toiletries.
I picked up a couple of 50ml tubes of shower gel and shampoo and decided to fancy them up for little gifts…
I really like the unusual shape that was so easy to achieve. Here’s the side view…
Essentially this is a little tray box at the bottom with designer series paper wrapped around it. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Gray Granite card measuring 6-1/2″ x 3″; scored on the long side at 1-1/2″, 3″, 4-1/2″ and 6″ and scored on the short side at 1-1/2″
- A piece of In Good Taste designer series paper that measures 6-3/4″ x 5″
- A piece of Whisper White card measuring 3/4″ x 3-1/2″ for the tag. This is stamped with a sentiment from the A Good Man set with Smoky Slate ink and cut with the Lovely Label Pick A Punch.
- Whisper White crinkle seam binding ribbon
I also used my Crop-A-Dile (not a Stampin’ Up! product) to punch the holes for the ribbon and tag.
I made a short video to show you how to put this together…
Here’s a photo of both versions…
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s projects. I would love it if you leave a comment to let me know, either here or on YouTube.
I’m trying to do one video tutorial a week and it would be a huge encouragement if you’d subscribe to my channel if you haven’t already.
I’ve listed the Stampin’ Up! products I’ve used below and you can click on the links to visit my online shop.
I love to treat my customers and if you use this month’s Host Code it will allow me to spoil you with some extra treats. Check out the Host Code page for more info.
Happy crafting,
