Hello everyone, I hope you are well.
I’ve been meaning to to something with these photos since they were taken in May 2011 and eventually got around to making this scrapbook page…
While I wouldn’t normally use a slightly blurry photo for a scrapbook page this one sums up the energy and enthusiasm of my niece when she was little and loved running around her grandparents beautiful garden. Lots of fun in the sun!
I used a 12″ x 12″ sheet of Dinoroar designer series paper for my base and added 2 further pieces of an alternative design that measure 2″ x 12″.
I added my 6″ x 4″ photos to Pretty Peacock card measuring 6-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ and added them to the designer series paper, overlapping them rather than chopping one of them down.
I stamped all of the words and phrases in Lovely Lipstick ink onto Whisper White card and trimmed them to fit. I backed some of them with Lovely Lipstick card too. All of the stamps used come from the Well Said stamp set.
I also used the coordinating Well Written dies to cut the words, tiny flowers, butterflies and birds from Lovely Lipstick card. I also cut the words from Whisper White card two times and stacked the 3 die cuts together to add to my page.
Finally I used the Small Bloom punch that I earned for free during Sale-A-Bration to create the flowers from Lovely Lipstick and Whisper White card. This punch will be available to buy in the new Annual Catalogue from 3 June 2020. I used the retiring Happiness Blooms enamel dots to add centres to the flowers and eyes to the birds.
I have such fond memories of this lovely fun family day that are enhanced by adding this bright page to my scrapbook. Now to look out more photos to use for my next page.
