Hello everyone.
It’s been a little while since I did a #simplestamping project so I thought I’d share this one with you….
This card only uses stamps, paper & ink with a card base – simple!
I used the Birthday Bonanza designer series paper pack but this would work just as well with most of Stampin’ Up! paper packs. As with most packs, the papers in Birthday Bonanza are double sided so you get a total of 12 designs to choose from.
I simply made sure that one of the designs I picked was plain enough to stamp a sentiment on and not be hidden in the design.
There’s no extra card layers on my simple card but you could add some if you wanted to step it up.
I made a card base from Whisper White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5cm. My first layer of paper (the balloons) measures 10 x 14 cm and I added another piece measuring 10 x 4.5 cm on top. The square piece measures 6 x 6 cm.
I stamped the Happy Birthday from the free Sending You Thoughts stamp set with black Memento ink. I also stamped the inside of the card using the same stamp set and ink…
Adding a little strip of paper to the inside just gives it a bit of a pop!
The Sending You Thoughts stamp set is free with an order of £45 before 31st March 2020, or while stocks last. It’s a lovely sets with quite a few 2 part sentiments like this.
