Hello everyone.
I’ve used the very pretty Best Dressed designer series paper (DSP) and the All Dressed Up dies from the same suite to make this gorgeous gift bag…
You need to cut the handbag die twice with two pieces of the 6″ x 6″ DSP and then join them to form the bag. As you can see I’ve folded the gusset sides outwards so that I can fit more into my bag.
I cut the 2 straps, the front pocket and the closure strap from Petal Pink card and then embossed them with Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder to give them a bit of texture.
I cut the buttons and the strap adjusters from Gold Foil sheet using more of the All Dressed Up Dies. This set has a total of 15 really useful dies included.
I curled the straps with my bone folder before adding them to the bag so that they have a nice natural curve. I added the Best Dressed Tassel to the bag with some Whisper White Bakers Twine. I added a velcro dot to the end of the bag closure strip to help keep the bag closed.
I managed to fit in a gift card, a lip balm and a little card with no trouble at all…
Why not come back tomorrow to check out the little card inside that envelope?

Hello Jean, unfortunately I didn’t do a tutorial for this and I no longer have the dies I used (Stampin’ Up! retired them) but there are some tutorials on YouTube like this one that might help
