Hello everyone.
The Peaceful Poppies designer series paper from Stampin’ Up! is so pretty that it doesn’t need much more to make a lovely card.
This is simply a card base made from Poppy Parade card (measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5cm) and a piece of Peaceful Poppies DSP measuring 10 x 14 cm.
I then added a piece of scalloped black ribbon I was given by a friend and then some of the Peaceful Poppies Elements pack. This pack includes lots of lovely die cuts and other embellishments to make your cards pop, with very little effort. I just added a few on to of each other, without any need for dimensionals.
When I used the Label Me Bold stamp set a few days ago I wondered what the sentiments would look like with the Black Shimmer Stampin’ Emboss powder so I gave it a try for the Thank You on this card. It’s difficult to photograph but hopefully you get an idea of how much colour and sparkle you get with this embossing powder…
I love it! The glints of colour are just fabulous.
