Hello everyone.
I had a few left over chocolates after filling up my husband’s countdown to Christmas boxes and thought I’d make a little thank you gift with some. I had a bit of crafter’s block so remembered a triangle box that I’d seen on YouTube years ago. Here’s my version…
And here’s the video I followed to get the dimensions of my box…
The finished box has a base that measures 3 & 1/2″ x 1 & 3/4″ and the total height is 2 & 3/4″, but obviously it tapers in at the top. I managed to squeeze my 3 chocolates inside…
For my version I used Crumb Cake card and some of the beautiful Pressed Petals speciality designer series paper. This paper is lightweight but that’s not a problem as it’s strong enough for the decoration.
I stamped the sentiment from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with my Layering Circles dies. I added a larger circle of Blueberry Bushel card behind it.
I added some Burlap Ribbon to the box cover and then added my sentiment circles with Stampin’ Dimensionals. My final touch was to add some gems from the Noble Peacock rhinestones pack.
It’s great to be able to spark your creativity when someone else has done the hard work. Why don’t you have a go too?
Before I go, have you noticed that the Stampin’ Up! Year-End Closeout has started today? Grab the retiring items while you can and see what’s been discounted too! Just click on the image below to get started…
