Bird Ballad Make & Take

Hello.

Today I want to show you a Make & Take card that I completed at a Stampin’ Up! event in April using products from the Bird Ballad suite…

This card has a Pool Party base measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then cut a layer of the Bird Ballad designer series paper that measures 10.5 x 14.5 cm to cover the full front of the base. I added the beautiful Scalloped Lace ribbon to the DSP before I glued it to the card base.

On a piece of Whisper White card that measures 10.5 x 6.3 cm I stamped the main image from the Free As A Bird set in Memento ink then used Stampin’ Blends to colour it.

The sentiment is also from the same stamp set and again I used Memento ink, onto Old Olive card, trimmed to fit.

You could colour these little birds in all sorts of colours to represent different species, especially if you are an expert twitcher. Unfortunately, I’m not and just stuck with Daffodil Delight.
