Hello.
Today I want to show you another card I was able to make with sample products back in April…
How gorgeous is that designer series paper? It reminds of a Monet painting and would be gorgeous on it’s own in a frame – in fact that’s what the designers have done on page 106 of the new Stampin’ Up! 2019-2020 annual catalogue.
This card has a base of Blackberry Bliss card and then a panel of the lush designer series paper. I then stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card with Blackberry Bliss ink using the new Floral Essence stamp set. I coloured the centres of the stamped flowers with my Daffodil Delight Dark Stampin’ Blend.
I then stamped 4 sets of the petals onto the Perennial Essence vellum with Petal Pink ink and cut them with the new Perennial Flower punch. I gently curled the petals and glued 2 together to form each flower and added one of the Perennial Essence Floral Centres in the middle of each one before glueing them to the stamped panel.
I forgot to stamp a sentiment when I had access to the Floral Essence Stamp Set so I used one from the Daisy Lane set instead. The final touch was to add a bow with the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread that comes in the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. I’ve listed the products used below. You can click on the links to visit my friend Valerie’s online Stampin’ Up! shop if you’d like to buy any of them. If you buy the stamp set and punch as a bundle you will save 10% on the cost of buying them separately – use the bundle code to get the saving.
Happy crafting,
