Tropical Chic – part 2 of 3

Hello.

As promised in yesterday’s blog I’m now sharing the second of three cards featuring the Tropical Chic stamp set, Tropical dies (currently available as a bundle with a 10% saving) and the Tropical Escape designer series paper…

This time I’ve used Whisper White for my card base and made a landscape tent fold. I used a piece of card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then added a piece of Granny Apple Green card measuring 10 x 14 cm and then a piece of the Tropical Escape paper measuring 9.5 x 13.5 cm.

I cut 3 more pieces of Granny Apple Green card measuring 3.5 x 8 cm. I chose another design from the paper pack and cut this into 3 panels each measuring 3.2 x 7.7 cm. I made sure that I kept the flow of the design across the 3 panels.

I then stamped the flower in Melon Mambo ink and the sentiment in Granny Apple Green ink onto Whisper White card. The sentiment stamp actually says ‘with much love & thanks’ but I just trimmed the stamped image down to just ‘with much love’. I had to add a bit of sparkle to the card so went over the petals of the flower with Wink Of Stella…

The sentiment is glued across 2 of the panels and the flower adhered to the top of it.
