Time to Party Panda!

Hello, I hope you’re having a lovely weekend. I read somewhere recently that the Party Pandas set is Stampin’ Up!’s most popular Sale-A-Bration item this year and it’s absolutely no surprise to me.  They are just SO cute!  And even more so because they’re free (with a £45 spend before P&P)

I’ve shared cards made with 2 of the Pandas on my Facebook page and here’s the 3rd one and he’s REALLY ready to party, lol

You may have seen a few cards with this ‘juggling’ panda.  The person that first came up with that idea is a genius.  Once you’ve seen him juggling you can’t un-see it, so I just had to join in.  My panda is juggling the lovely Tutti-Frutti sequins that are just so easy to use as they come with adhesives on the back; just ready to be put into place on your project. They’re a bargain at £6.25 for 250 sequins and come with 5 colours in the pack.

My card base is A6 size in Tempting Turquoise card. I’ve also used some of the Sale-A-Bration Bubbles & Fizz designer series paper for one of my layers.  I love the combination of Lemon Lime Twist with Tempting Turquoise and used this in the panda’s party hat too.  The ‘Time to Party’ stamp is from Confetti Celebration stamp set which inspired me to add the ‘confetti’ from the Party Panda stamp set on my Whisper White layer.

I then added a Whisper White panel inside the card and used the Happy Birthday stamp, also from Confetti Celebration.  I stamped it in Tempting Turquoise and coloured it in with Lemon Lime Twist ink, using my Aqua Painter.  And of course the Panda had to have another little appearance here too.
