Beautiful Ordinary Life box – video

Hello! I hope you are well. Today I want to share another gorgeous upcoming suite of products from Stampin’ Up! I used the Beautiful Ordinary Life product suite to make this gift box for a large bar of chocolate…

The product suite includes fabulous designer series paper, some gorgeous black accent pieces, lovely gems and of course a fantastic stamp set and awesome dies! I used all of the along with Pretty Peacock and Basic White card to make this box. You slide off the belly band and use this little tab to lift the lid…

And then you reveal the chocolate bar inside along with a lovely little message…

Isn’t that pierced fancy edge on the paper inside just fantastic? I love how many extra details you can add to projects with these new Bordered In Beauty dies.

MEASUREMENTS

To make the Beautiful Ordinary Life box in today’s video you’ll need the following supplies

• Flirty Flamingo card measuring 8″ x 10″
  • score the short side at 1/2″ and 7-1/2″
  • score the long side at 2″, 2-1/2″, 6″ and 6-1/2″
• Beautiful Ordinary Life designer series paper as follows
  • 6-3/4″ x 2-5/8″ for the front
  • 6-3/4″ x 3-1/4″ for the back
  • 6-3/4″ x 1-7/8″ for the inside
  • Two pieces = 3-1/4″ x 3/8″ for the sides
  • 3/4″ x 3-1/4″ for the belly band
• Basic White card as follows
  • 1″ x approx 10″ for the belly band
  • 6-3/4″ x 2-5/8″ for the inside message
  • various scraps to stamp and die cut decorations
• embellishments

The assembled box measures, 7″ x 3-1/2″ x 1/2″
