Pleasant Patterns hinge lidded box – video

Hello! I hope you are well. I’m preparing myself for the retirement of the 2025-2026 In Colors™ in May this year. I will miss Petunia Pop and Pretty In Pink most I think, especially as today’s project reminded me how much I like Pretty In Pink. It also looks great with Strawberry Slush but thankfully that’s staying around for another year. I used this combination for today’s Pleasant Patterns hinge lidded box…

The Pleasant Patterns designer series paper is super shiny and really nice and sturdy too – I’d say it was more like glossy card than paper. It’s taken me a while but I eventually chopped into one of the sheets!

I don’t have any Pretty In Pink ribbon so that’s why I chose to use Strawberry Slush. I’m so glad I did, because I love the combination. What do you think?

MEASUREMENTS

To make the Pleasant Patterns hinge lidded box in today’s video you’ll need the following supplies

• Pretty In Pink card measuring 5-1/4″ x 6-1/4″
  • score on the short side at 3/4″, 2-1/4″, 3″ and 4-1/2″
  • score on the long side at 3/4″ and 5-1/2″
• Pleasant Patterns DSP for the lid measuring 1-1/4″ x 4-1/2″
• A piece of Basic White card to stamp the sentiment
• A scrap of Pretty In Pink card to stamp and die cut the flowers
• Ribbon

The assembled box measures, 4-3/4″ tall x 1-1/2″ wide x 3/4″ deep. Its a great fit for my 33.5g bar of Dairy Milk chocolate – but I’m sure others would fit too.
