Friendly Foliage CAS card – Touches of Ink Blog Hop January 2026

Today I’m taking part in the first Touches of Ink blog hop of 2026, so you may have joined me from my lovely friend Tatjana’s blog. Welcome! Despite all the brand new products I could have used, I have created this Friendly Foliage CAS card…

ABOUT MY CARD

I haven’t used the Online Exclusive Friendly Foliage stamps and dies nearly enough, as I got too distracted by Christmas! So, it was time to put that right. But I wanted to show that you can make a CAS (Clean And Simple) card with just a couple of the dies and a sentiment.

To create the multicoloured leaves on my card, I scribbled over some scraps of white card with various yellow and green Stampin’ Blends and then die cut the leaves from the scraps. I also cut the leaves from Mossy Meadow card and then matched the pieces from both together…

To add a little bit extra subtle detail, I scored a piece of basic white card every 1 cm, after cutting off a triangle at the bottom.

That left me with more than enough space to stamp my sentiment with Mossy Meadow ink onto the card base. The top panel was popped up with pieces of Adhesive Foam Sheets, just so that I didn’t have to remove too many dimensional backings! And then my final touch was to add some Muted Palette Dots.
