Delicate Pines CAS card – The Project Share Blog Hop – November 2025

Hello and welcome to the October 2025 Project Share Project blog hop. Our fabulous little group of independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators regularly share each others projects and also create a new project for a monthly Blog Hop. Our theme this month is Clean And Simple (or CAS for short). So I have created this Delicate Pines CAS card…

ABOUT MY PROJECT

I think this might be the first project I’ve created with the Delicate Pines bundle that doesn’t also feature the paper from the suite. The paper is gorgeous but most of it is a bit too fussy for this blog hop’s theme. So instead, I only stamped one image and die cut it, then also added a fussy cut sentiment.

My card base is Basic White Thick card and I knew I wanted to use the stunning Silent Snowfall paper but I added a layer of Lost Lagoon card to separate them. There’s only a tiny bit of colour showing, as I wanted to keep as much white as possible. But I admit I did add a tiny bit of colour by tapping my Stampin’ Blends to get a fine splatter. Then I went a step further and splashed on a tiny bit of sparkle with my Wink of Stella!

The pine snowflake image and sentiment were stamped with Lost Lagoon ink. I took a couple of strands from a piece of twine that I’d unravelled to add those wavy loops underneath the snowflake. It’s a little bit more work thank using the full twine, but it’s a much more delicate look.
