Hello! I hope you are well. Yesterday I shared the Painterly Pears gift bag that I created for my last Nellie’s Stampers team craft-a-long. So today, I thought I show you the Painterly Pears square card I made for the same event…

I love crafting with my team, even if it’s just on Zoom. Each month I send them a pack of supplies and we get together online to make 2 projects, normally a card and a 3D item. In this pack, I sent them an A4 sheet of Basic White Thick card and Mossy Meadow card, plus a 6″ x 6″ piece of Painterly Pears DSP, ribbon and embellishments. It was then up to them how they used them.
In the end, we all created square cards with a white base and a Mossy Meadow layer. But there were plenty differences on how the ribbon and embellishments were used, plus their choice of sentiment. I love watching this creativity unfold!
My sentiment is from the beautiful Blooming Phrases stamp set. I absolutely love the font in this set.
My card base is 5-3/4″ square, the Mossy Meadow layer is 5-1/2″ square and the DSP measures 5-1/4″ square. This means I had a couple of 3/4″ wide strips of DSP left over. I added one to the inside, with a little bit more stamping…

And then added the second one to a 6″ x 6″ envelope to match…

If you’d like to join in with these crafty sessions then you need to join my team. But hold off for now, there’s a joining promotion starting on 1 October 2025. I don’t know the details yet, but I’m all for you getting the best value for your money and this offer is likely to give you that! Watch this space, as soon as I have the details I will share it with you here.

First time I have seen this pear paper used well. Usually everyone tries to cram too much of the paper and the die cuts of the pears etc
onto one card. This is clean, crisp and looks really cheerful! Well done!
Thank you so much Sam, sometimes less really is best. The paper is so pretty 😍 it does all the hard work for you ❤️❤️
