Hello! I hope you are well. After preparing crafting packs to send to my Nellie’s Stampers team members I found myself with quite a few scraps of the All Season Velvet paper that I had been die cutting from. So, I began using the tiny tree punch from A Little Cheer to cut lots of trees from the scraps of the green velvet. That then sparked the idea for this A Little Cheer tree card…

I realised that I had enough tiny trees to make a much bigger tree! So I grabbed my glue and stuck them on a piece of Basic White card, which I then die cut with one of the Textured Notes die.
I used the tiny Christmas stocking punch on some leftover red velvet paper and also cut some tops for the stockings from the white velvet. I put the white pieces on top of the red stockings and glued them to my tree. A white velvet star, again using a punch from A Little Cheer, topped the tree nicely.
The sentiment is from the A Little Cheer stamp set and I used Real Red ink. Finally I added the rectangle to a Basic White Thick card base. But of course I couldn’t leave it without any bling, so added a few rhinestones for good measure…

I love using scraps and this luxurious velvet paper deserved to be put to use!
