Easy Christmas tree decoration – tutorial

Hello! I hope you are well. Last year I saw a type of Christmas decoration that I thought I’d like to try out. It turns out this style of decoration has been around for a while. but I hadn’t seen it. I was too late to think about making some for my tree last year, but I’m planning ahead for this year! This is my easy Christmas tree decoration made with Elegant Pine Snowflakes designer series paper…

And here’s what they look like when they are open or folded up…

And all you need is some squares of paper, a bit of twine and a bead of some sort to make them! This isn’t origami, as you need to glue the folded squares together, but it is super simple.

MEASUREMENTS

To make the project in today’s video you’ll need the following supplies:

• Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP
  • five pieces that measure 2″ x 2″
  • two pieces that measure 1″ x 1″
• twine
• a bead

You can make these bigger or smaller, just make sure you have square pieces of double sided paper and get folding! You can even add more than 5 folded pieces, especially if you are making bigger decorations.
