Tiny Jar of Joy treat box – tutorial

Hello! I hope you are well. Today’s project is this tiny Jar of Joy treat box…

The box measures 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ and is the perfect size for a Ferrero Rocher chocolate. Or any similar sized treat.

The main component of this tiny Jar Of Joy treat box is a simple cube and I then added the Jar of Joy image cut with the Sweet Jar builder punch to the front and back.

Then I added a little ribbon pull and covered it with a sentiment on the lid. When you open the lid you reveal the treat…

I then made another version using the colours from this week’s Creative Colour Challenge that you can see in today’s video…

MEASUREMENTS

To make the tiny Jar of Joy treat box in today’s video you’ll need the following supplies:

  • Basic White card measuring 5″ x 6-1/2″
    • score on the long side at 1-1/2″, 3″, 4-1/2″ and 6″
    • score on the short side at 1-1/2″, 3″ and 4-1/2″
  • Basic White card for the sentiment measuring 1-7/16″ x 1-7/16″ (or just a smidge under 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2
  • Basic White card to stamp and punch 2 jars and 2 lids
  • Ribbon
  • Embellishments
