Sunshine Vibes treat box – tutorial

Hello! I hope you are well. The weather here in Scotland, and most of the UK, took a turn for the worst yesterday. My friend tells me we even had hailstones – in July! But I didn’t notice as I was brightening up my own day by making this Sunshine Vibes treat box…

And it contains one of my favourite chocolate bars…

For anyone that isn’t familiar with a crunchie, it’s a bar of cinder toffee covered in delicious milk chocolate. The advertising slogan for years was Thank crunchie it’s Friday. But for today, it’s thank crunchie it’s stopped raining right now!

As I had time on my hands and more chocolate bars in the pack, I recorded a video to show you how to make this Sunshine Vibes treat box…

Making these did cheer up my rainy day and I hope they’ll cheer up whoever receives them too – as long I don’t get too tempted to eat the chocolate bars first!

MEASUREMENTS

To make the Sunshine Vibes treat box in today’s video you’ll need the following supplies:

• Daffodil Delight card measuring 7″ x 5″
  • score on the long side at 1″ and 6″
  • score on the short side at 1/2″, 1-3/4″, 2-3/4″ and 4″
• Boho Vibes designer series paper measuring 5-1/4″ x 4-1/2″
  • score on the long side at 1″ then wrap around the box as shown in the video
• Scraps of coordinating card colours to die cut the rainbow arches
• Scrap of Basic White card for the sentiment
• Embellishments

The finished box measures 5″ x 1-1/4″ x 1″
