Layered Thoughts thank you card – tutorial

Hello! I hope you are well. One of my amazing Nellie’s Stampers recently suggested that we do a team card swap to help inspire each other. Six of us agreed to take part so I got to create 5 similar cards to send out and will receive 5 in return. Here’s the first two Layered Thoughts thank you cards I created…

I used the Floral Impressions designer series paper pack for the background, showing 2 designs from the pack on each card. The 2 pieces of DSP were layered onto Pool Party card before being added to the Basic White Thick card base. The thank you stamps are from the Layered Thought set. I stamped the Thank in Fresh Freesia ink and the you on top with Misty Moonlight as these colours feature in the DSP. These sentiment pieces were backed with some Fresh Freesia card. I added some Iridescent Pearls as a finishing touch.

The next two cards feature the same DSP and stamp set but with Fresh Freesia and Strawberry Slush…

These ones got some Strawberry Slush gems added to complete them.

MEASUREMENTS

To make the card I created in today’s video you’ll need the following supplies…

• Basic White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm
• Fresh Freesia card measuring 10 x 14 cm
• A floral piece of DSP measuring 9.5 cm x 6.5 cm
• A patterned piece of DSP measuring 9.5 x 4.5 cm
• Basic White card to stamp the sentiment measuring 9 x 3.5 cm
• Pool Party card to back the sentiment measuring 9.5 x 4 cm
• embellishments
