Timeless Plaid personalised bookmark – tutorial

Hello! I hope you are well. I bought some bookmark sleeves and tassels ages ago and rediscovered them when moving my craft room recently. It’s amazing what I found when I had to pack my old room up! Anyway, I decided to use them at the crafty group I host in our community centre each week. But I needed a couple of samples to give them a little bit of inspiration. Here’s my first personalised bookmark…

To kill two birds with one stone, I created this one as a little extra Father’s Day gift. My beloved father in law is an avid user of the local library and always has a pile of books he’s working his way through. So another bookmark won’t go amiss. He also loves a puzzle, so the scrabble or crossword layout of Fab Dad is perfect for him too. The Timeless Plaid DSP gives a nice masculine background to the design.

The Mini Alphabet dies make personalising any project super simple. In this case, I used a second design from the Timeless Plaid DSP pack to cut the letters. The little stars I added were created with dies from the Sunshine Vibes die set, again using another design from Timeless Plaid

I decided to make another Timeless Plaid personalised bookmark and recorded a video while doing so…

If you enjoy watching my video, I’d love you to give it a thumbs up and leave me a comment too. Here’s the one I made in today’s video and the original…

MEASUREMENTS

The Timeless Plaid DSP was cut to measure 5″ x 2″ so that it fits the sleeves that I had in my craft stash.
