I have loved creating with the Spotlight On Nature stamps and dies bundle ever since I got my hands on it at the OnStage event in Rotterdam back in March 2024. As always, you save 10% when you buy stamps and dies with the bundle code. But right now, until 30 June 2024 you will actually save 20% by buying the bundle instead of the stamps and dies separately. And it’s not just this particular bundle, it’s ALL stamps and dies bundles…
You can shop the bundles included in this deal with the following link: https://www.stampinup.uk/categories/specials/bundle-sale?demoid=5046503
ABOUT MY CARD
My card base is Crumb Cake and the next layer is Pecan Pie card. I cut a layer of Country Woods DSP and added some Summer Splash ribbon across the middle Then I added some Polka Dot trim, but with the polka dots face down.
I stamped the lovely leaf image onto Basic White card with Summer Splash ink then cut it with one of the circular dies from the bundle. To grunge it up a bit I used the 2 texture stamps from the set with second generation Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake inks (ie I stamped off onto scrap paper before stamping onto my die cut piece. It needed a bit more grunge so I added some of both of the brown inks with blending brushes.
I then stamped the same leaf image onto Crumb Cake card and cut it with a larger die. I lined the images up and glued them together before popping them onto my card with dimensionals…
The sentiment was stamped with Pecan Pie ink onto Crumb Cake card and die cut. While the card was still in the die I blended some Crumb Cake ink onto it. This leaves the edges without ink, for a different look. Finally, I added some Summer Splash resin dots. I hope you like the finished result of my Spotlight On Nature thanks card.
