Encircled In Nature card – Creative Colour Challenge 139

ABOUT MY CARD

I stamped the branch wreath from Encircled In Nature with Pebbled Path ink onto a Basic White card layer, but offset to one side so the full image wasn’t stamped. Then I stamped the foliage around the wreath with Wild Wheat ink. The flowers were stamped with Melon Mambo ink onto a scrap of Basic White card, before being coloured with my Melon Mambo light Stampin’ Blend. I added a little bit of Wild Wheat ink onto a small clear block then picked it up with my Wink Of Stella pen to colour the leaves and centres of the flowers. This also adds a lovely little bit of sparkle.

The flowers were cut with the coordinating Encircled In Nature die. Before adding the die cut to the card layer I decided to stamp the sentiment, add some horizontal score lines and add some ribbon. The flowers die cut was added over the ribbon with dimensionals….

I backed this white card layer with Pebbled Path card and then added them to my usual Basic White Thick card base. The final touch was to add some retiring embellishments in Wild Wheat and Pebbled Path.
