Today I’m taking part in the Share It Sunday blog hop. This is such a fun blog hop as we just share whatever we’ve been working on. So who knows what you’ll see when you hop your way around. I’ve used a bundle and paper pack from the upcoming Annual Catalogue, that launches on 1 May 2024. Here’s my Thoughtful Wishes card…
The Thoughtful Journey designer series paper pack is so beautiful that it is really tempting to just use that on its own. But I did want to play with the stamps and dies too. So, I stamped the thistle with Memento black ink onto Basic White card and then coloured it with light Blackberry Bliss and dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. Then I thought the background was a bit too stark against the DSP, so I coloured it with my light Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blend. I really think this little touch makes a big difference.
I stamped the sentiment from Thoughtful Wishes with Blackberry Bliss ink onto a little scrap of the designer series paper and added that to my card with dimensionals.
The final touch was to add some Brushed Brass Butterflies.
