Today I’m taking part in the InspireInk blog hop, with a few of my talented Pootlers team mates. This month our theme is Easter. I nearly didn’t bother to take part in this month’s hop as I don’t have a single currently available Easter themed stamp!! But I was determined to rise to the challenge. So here’s my Alphabet A La Mode Easter card…
I had a wee look through my packs of designer series paper and found this really pretty design from Delightfully Eclectic that looks just like some Springtime tulips to me! Or maybe I’ve got tulips on my mind as when this post goes live I’ll be in Rotterdam, Netherlands for Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage event.
My ‘Happy’ is from Go To Greetings but I had to mask off the ‘Birthday’ part. I stamped this with Misty Moonlight ink to coordinate with the designer series paper. The letters for ‘Easter’ were cut with Alphabet A La Mode dies and Crushed Curry card. I glued them to my stamped piece of Basic White card and trimmed it to fit. Then I backed this with Fresh Freesia card.
My card base is also Fresh Freesia card and the final touch was some small Crushed Curry flowers cut with the Petal Park builder punch…
I added some Fresh Freesia Tinsel Gems to the centre of the flowers and a couple of extra Misty Moonlight ones to the card too. I love that we can use all these fabulous product to perfectly colour coordinate.
