Wanted To Say birthday card – InspireInk Blog Hop

Today I’m taking part in the InspireInk blog hop with a few of my talented Pootlers team mates. This month our theme is Birthday. I’ve made a really easy pop up card with some really pretty paper. Here’s my Wanted To Say birthday card…

I love the Wanted To Say dies! They include this Happy Birthday sentiment, along with Celebrate, You’re Too Kind and Feel Better Soon. Each sentiment die also has a matching background die so you can layer them up. The set also has some cute extra little dies like the flowers and hearts I used on today’s card.

The paper I’ve used comes from the Delightfully Eclectic pack that has a whopping 48 sheets of 12″ x 12″ paper. This paper pack is one of the recently added Sale-A-Bration freebies, although you can also buy this one too..

This card is bigger than my normal cards but folds flat and then measures 5″ x 7″ so it’s easy to pop in an envelope. The pop up mechanism is really simple but effective…
