Hello! I hope you are well. I’m sorry I’ve been a little bit quiet here and on YouTube this past week or so. The run up to Christmas is just such a crazy time, isn’t it? Anyway, I’ve still not written all my Christmas cards or wrapped a single gift. Despite that I allowed myself some time out to make this Christmas Pinecone card for the latest Creative Colour Challenge…

about my CARD
As I’m not done writing my Christmas cards, there’s a chance I might need to still make more. That’s my excuse for creating today’s card. The green and brown made me think about the Christmas Pinecone dies that I haven’t used in a while.
I cut the large piece from Granny Apple Green card and the 2 layers of each pinecone from Pecan Pie can. Because I thought it looked too plain on my Basic White card base I embossed a piece of card the same size as my card front with the Christmas Tidings embossing folder. The embossed piece was glued to the card front and then my die cuts added on top.
I stamped the sentiment from Joy To You with Read Red ink on Basic White card and cut it with a Deckled Rectangle die. This was popped up with dimensionals and my final touch was to add some Sparkle Gems.
I love all the little details on this card…
I hope you like my Christmas Pinecone card with this week’s colours. Why don’t you see what you can make with these colours and join in the fun?
