Today I have one of those cards that we never want to send but inevitably we have to, so that we can express our sympathy…
For this card I chose to use the lovely stamps from the free Sale-A-Bration set All Adorned and used one layer with Copper heat embossing and the second layer with Fresh Fig ink as the main image. I used the same heat embossing for the sentiment but this stamp comes from the Lasting Lily set; which is also a free Sale-A-Bration product with a qualifying spend.
My Whisper White card base is my usual 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm to create a portrait tent fold. I then added a layer of Fresh Fig card that measures 14 x 10 cm.
I cut a piece of Whisper White card to measure 13.5 x 9.5 cm and then put it through my Big Shot in the Tufted embossing folder, which gives this lovely soft quilted look…
I used the Stitched Shapes framelits to cut out the square and the Rectangle Stitched framelits for the sentiment. I backed both of them with some Fresh Fig card so that they stand out from the embossed background.

I wouldn’t have thought to use a stamp like that on a sympathy card but it works perfectly and with the Fresh Fig and copper is beautiful. That embossing folder may have to fall into my next shopping basket too lol. Thanks for the inspiration Heather. Have a lovely day xx

Thanks! It is a really flexible stamp, I’ve seen 3 blogs featuring it today and they’re all so different. It’s really easy to layer too xx
