Hello! Welcome to another Festive Friday post. This time I’ve been making some small gift bags to fit a Vaseline Lip Therapy tin. Here’s the first little A Walk In The Forest gift bag I made..
I love the traditional Christmas colours in this paper from the A Walk In The Forest pack. I also love that this bag design allows you to see both sides of the paper. This is an idea I picked up from Sam of Pootles Papercraft. It also helps to reinforce the bag opening and if you slide your ribbon down far enough it also helps to keep it in place. It’s a win, win, win!
As the bag is made from paper, albeit lovely thick paper, you can just squish the sides in like this…
The ribbon and gift tag slides off to reveal a lovely little gift inside…
This is the latest of my Festive Friday posts that I started off in September. Each one has a supporting video tutorial and if you’ve missed any of them you can click here to watch the full playlist over on YouTube.
As these make lovely little gifts I will be making quite a few more. So, I decided to record myself making the next one. You can find out how I make the gift bag and tag by watching my tutorial…
