about my card

I decided to use Timeless Arrangements stamps and dies to create this appreciation card, for no other reason that I haven’t used them for a little while!

To start the process I pulled out scraps of the 3 colours of card and randomly cut a variety of pieces with the Timeless Arrangements dies. Sometimes it’s hard to know when to stop! Ha ha.

I stamped the I really appreciate you sentiment with Azure Afternoon ink on Basic White card then cut it with one of the rectangle dies from Timeless Arrangements. To fill in some of the empty space I stamped the little rings or bubbles stamp with Lemon Lolly ink a few times, both full strength and second generation ink.

I then arranged all those fabulous die cut pieces and glued them to the back of the rectangle. I cut a smaller piece of white card to stick over all the ends and sandwich them between this piece and the sentiment.

Finally, I added the whole arrangement onto my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals…

Don’t you just love the stitching and little crosses detail on this sentiment piece?

measurements

My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 14.5 cm. The Lemon Lolly layer measures 10 x 14 cm the top Basic White layer measures 9.5 x 13.5 cm. The piece of card I added to the back of the sentiment piece measured approx 5 x 3 cm.
